Reviews
My mom grew up in Rockwell City, so we swung through town to see some of the sights from her past. We started getting hungry, so we found this place and swung in there for a late(ish) lunch. Restaurant was full of families, single guys, and construction workers. We got a table and the one host/waiter brought us chips and salsa. Menu was quite sizable -- tacos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, soups, etc. A little something for everyone. Food was decent. My enchiladas were OK, but my Dad got mixed fajitas and said they were really good. Kids liked their kids meals. Drinks were ample, and the service was average. Prices were fair but not cheap. Worth a stop if you have a hankering for Mexican food in RC. Hours: By about 1:30 PM we were the only people still in the restaurant. The waiter told us they were closing and that they re-open at 3:00 PM. This is not stated on the door, so be aware that you won't be able to get served in the mid-afternoon. (He locked the door and biked away right as we left).
Great authentic tasting food. Haven't had anything bad yet. Good margaritas too. Nice staff.
Best Mexican food I've found around here. I haven't had any better in Nevada or California. It is worth the drive if you like Mexican food at its best.
Just opened. Mexican in rural Iowa. What could be better?
If you go for dinner, the pork Chile verde is excellent. My wife loves the shrimp burrito
